What's in the water

What's actually running through your pipes

Sydney mains water is treated and monitored to be safe. Whole-home filtration adds an extra layer at your property for households that want to reduce sediment and improve taste and odour throughout the home.

Chlorine

Chlorine is used to disinfect mains water. Some households notice a chlorine taste or odour and choose carbon filtration to reduce it at home.

Sediment & rust

Fine particles can enter household plumbing from the wider network or local pipework. Sediment filtration is designed to capture these particles before water moves through the home.

Whole-home convenience

Instead of filtering one drinking tap, a point-of-entry system treats water before it is distributed to the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and other taps.

Why whole-home

A filter under the sink treats about 11% of your home's water.

Under-sink and benchtop filters only clean the water at that one tap. Every shower, bath, basin and laundry tap still runs unfiltered. A whole-home system treats the water where it enters your property — so all of it is filtered.

Questions, answered

How long does installation take?

Most standard installations are completed in a single visit. Exact timing depends on access, pipework and the installation location.

Where is the system installed?

Outside, near your water meter, in a weather-rated housing. It filters the water as it enters your property, which is how every tap in the house ends up filtered.

What does it reduce?

The standard system is designed for whole-home sediment filtration and chlorine-related taste and odour reduction. Exact performance depends on the selected filtration media and your water supply.

How much does it cost?

$3,500 including GST for a standard installation. If your property needs non-standard plumbing work, we’ll identify and agree to that before installation.

Is there a warranty?

Warranty terms depend on the final system supplied. We’ll provide the applicable product and installation warranty details before you proceed.

Is it certified and installed properly?

The system is WaterMark certified and every install is carried out by a licensed, insured plumber.

Will it affect my water pressure?

The system is selected and installed with household flow requirements in mind. We confirm your property setup before installation.
